LCFS works with children who do not live at home to facilitate family reunification or other permanent, safe and loving homes.
Domestic Adoption recruits adoptive parents who will provide permanent homes for children with special needs. LCFS provides orientation and training for families who are matched with waiting children. Social work staff supervises placement until the adoption is final. International Adoption services through LCFS, a licensed adoption agency, and member agency of Lutheran Adoption Network (LAN) places children ready for adoption from countries in Asia, South and Central America, and Eastern Europe. Post-Permanency and Adoption Support System (PASS). When permanency-related issues surface and impact your child and family, PASS is here to help you with trained and experienced child welfare professionals. We provide a formalized program of service to all families who adopt through Lutheran Children and Family Service, Bethanna, and other area agencies free of charge.
