It is our goal to provide families with the highest quality services so that they are well-prepared to adopt a child from another country. In compliance with requirements of the Hague Convention on the Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect to Intercountry Adoption, we provide 10-12 hours of training in addition to the home study visits. We have broken down the process into steps that meet requirements at every level of the adoption process.
Our International Adoption Program Provides:
- Orientation, training and preparation for new families;
- Support and post-placement services by experienced professional staff;
- Child matching and placement services through the Lutheran Adoption Network, a national collaboration of 30 Lutheran social ministry organizations that are active in both international and domestic adoptions and who are members of Lutheran Services in America (LSA);
- Free monthly informational meetings.
